My eyes are 20/25 in one eye and 20/20 in the other...

What does that mean, will I need glasses?

  1. You would need glasses but you don't need to use them if you can see and manage well without them. My left eye is 20/20 and my right eye is 20/200 and only use my glasses when I want to see distance even though I can go without them.


  2. You do not need glasses :)

    It just means that what you can see from 20 feet in that eye, your better eye can see just as clearly from 25 feet. MIniscule difference.

    Try being 20/1000  

  3. Usually not with vision that good. If your dr prescribes glasses for the rx, I think he is just scamming you.

    That means that you have good vision.  

  4. There would be just a very minor correction for one eye...which usually wouldn't be necessary unless it bothers you for some reason.

    But, what did the Dr. who determined your visual acuity as being 20/25 say ?
