  1. no! u have to bay a deem light...I don't know the esact name but I know that u can finf it  in any tv shope! u have to put it on the head of uer monitor!

  2. Make sure the refresh rate for the monitor is set as high as the settings will let it go e.g. 100hz or so.  A low refresh rate can tire the eyes.  Also if you are doing lots of reading it may help to make the font you are using bigger, or set the resolution to 800x600 or lower.

  3. Just adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor according to your taste. If possible decrease the brightness. Also fix an antiglare screen on the monitor. If the antiglare screen is fixed on your monitor, the rays emitted by the monitor will be scattered and will not reach your eyes directly.

  4. JUST DECREASE THE BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST OF UR MONITER AS LESS AS U CAN. THIS IS VERY HELPFUL

  5. Blinking eyes after short duration and watch on a distance will give you better result. This is a good exercise for IT professionals. And better if you discuss with you physician once to this problem, who can test and may be your physician will provide you some thing good such eye drops or other medicaitons which will be more effective for you.

  6. get a bigger screen

  7. u can switch to lcd..that definately reduces the strain

can also use mezol eye drops  4-5 times a day when ur eyes feel dry...also the lenses of ur glasses get them changed i switched to crizal they dont strain my eyes much when i work on the comp.

  8. don't sit always in front the system..

give some rest to your eyes and mind

apply two piece of cucumber to your both eyes
