My eyes are closed shut every morning due to mucus build-up. My eyes are the normal color.?

I wear both contacts and glasses. Whichever I sleep in the same result. I can't wear my contacts the next day though because they are covered in mucus. My life is being taken over by mucus AHHH!

you can remove mucous  with  with a small piece of cotton dipped in warm water , and you have to make sure of removing any secretions frequently , this is infection and you need an antibiotic drops [ like fucithalmic acid or chloramphenicole drops ] and ur contacts now have the organism , if you continue on wearing them you may get corneal infection and this is very serious .

You definitely have some sort of infection.  Probably caused by something on your contacts.  Make an appointment with your eye doctor ASAP.
