My eyes are really sensitive, do you think it would be okay to get contacts?

they are so sensitive, sometimes when i walk, i can feel then burning and by the end of the day they are all red and people ask me if i've been crying

but i really want contacts. i don't have to wear glasses all the time, just for driving pretty much and my mom said that it would be fine if i got them

but i'm just wanting some experienced people to give me some feedback :D

You can't really know if your eyes are too sensitive until you try them out. Optometrists can give you a cheap pair (mine were like $10) you can wear for like a week to see if they are suitable for you.

If putting them in is what bothers you the most, there are alternative ways, such as putting them on the white part of the eye instead of directly onto the pupil.

Once contacts are in, you can't even tell you are wearing them, so maybe that won't irritate them.

So basically, go see your optomistrist and give them a whirl, I love wearing them.
