  1. did you give your contacts time to soak in solution, or are you overwearing the contacts? It could also be the type of contact solution you are wearing if you feel it when you just put them in and then it wears off later

  2. It's not your fault. Usually when people put on contacts it stings but then you'll get used to it. So take some time and just wait. Sooner or later, it'll stop hurting.

  3. If it's your first time, it takes awhile to get used it contacts. Everyone gets that feeling as long as the pain isn't too serious.  If you've been using it for awhile and are only just experiencing the pain, take them out and wash them AGAIN even if you think it's clean, check them AGAIN to see if they're inside out even if you think it's fine.  Wash out your eyes too.

Sometimes, if you blink a couple times, it'll get better.

  4. Make sure they're not inside out - when you put them in your palm they should fold like a clamshell.

Your eyes may also just be getting used to them.

If they remain uncomfortable - see the eye doctor - he may have to make an adjustment.

  5. 1. they can't be inside out

    2. they need to be clean and moist

    3. no dust/any other object must get on them

    4. they may be not the contacts that you need - see your doctor
