I've been wearing them about 10 days. They have 2 prescriptions in them - computer/reading. They are fine when they are on.

I just happend to read without them, and I really think my eyes are alot worse without them.

Is something wrong with these glasses? I dont think its just the contrast from wearing them and not wearing them, cause I used reading glasses in the past

Thanks to all.

  1. You now have seen what it looks like when you can see clearly, and your brain is happy.

Now you know the difference, before you had nothing to compare it too.

You probably went to the eye doctor because you were aware of not being able to read clearly enough, you knew something was off.

If you feel a pull, they might be a bit strong, or slightly off-axis, something that can be determined by a recheck, so see the person who gave you the prescription and have a recheck to be sure.

  2. I'm not sure I understand your question but here goes. How old are you? I'm thinking you are probably on the wrong side of 40 or you are quite farsighted. After 40 ones eyes looses its ability to focus up close and it gets worse with time. The only reason that I can think of is that your eyes and brain got use to the sharp clear vision that you have with the glasses and that every thing seem a lot worse now without it on. Your vision isnt suppose to be great without the glasses otherwise you wouldnt be wearing specs in the first place.

  3. I think it's a question of getting used to seeing well. I now wear contacts, without them I notice the difference. I've got used to seeing 20/20 which means I notice when I don't see 20/20. I guess you're experiencing the same.
