  1. I used to live in Copenhagen, so I could go on and on about all the things that you should do there!! I will keep my suggestion to the top 3 - visit Tivoli, the amusement part in the center of the city, walk down Stroget (the shopping street) to Nyhavn and have a beer or an icecream by the harbor, eat at Kong Hans Kaelder a FABULOUS restaurant.

Stockholm is another wonderful and beautiful city.  I would highly recommend spending some time exploring Gamla Stan (the old city), it's really quaint and you can get lost for hours strolling around.  Also, the Ice Bar is a little touristy, but really fun.  If you want a really nice dining experience try Cafe Opera.

I have also been to Helsinki, but only on business unfortunately. However, one of the things that the locals recommended I do was to take a boat tour out into the harbor.

  2. Stockholm is the most underrated city I know. It's fantastic. My wife spent a semester in Gothenberg Sweden in college and when we got married, we spent 6 days of our honeymoon Stockholm.

Go see the vasa. It's highly entertaining. Don't learn too much about it before you go, its more entertaining the less you know.

Spend some time wondering around gamla stan, the beautiful old city. There's an ice cream shop in the middle of it that makes great home-made cones.

There's lots more, it depends on how long you'll be there. You can do a lot because this time of year the sun doesn't set until about 11 or 12 and then it's just twilight practically until dawn, it doesn't get completely dark. That's why they have thick black-out curtains in the hotel windows.

  3. In Helsinki there are lots of museums, concerts and of course the Korkeasaari Zoo as well as Linnanmäki amusement park. Shoppers will find themselves from either Sokos or Stockmann for example, and if you take a local bus from the city centre, there is the Science Centre Heureka in the neighbouring city Vantaa.

  4. Helsinki is great, there is a lot to do there! You can also take a cruise boat (I used Viking Line-not only is it cheap, but it's a very nice boat) to Stockholm, which is beautiful! Both cities are definitely worth it. Tallinn is...ok. I'm not sure if it was worth the 18 euros that I paid for the boat ride there.

    :)
