Well on our four burner gas stove, 3 of the burners no longer work, and we asked and they said it would cost more for repairs than for a new one.. So we need a new one..

We have a built in stove top.. On another note, our oven cannot go any higher than 350 degrees because the button can't work. Whenever we asked about it, they say it'd be better to get a new one, since we've had ours since the house was built, before we moved in. It was built in 1950, so you can kinda see..

We don't REALLY wanna tear out the stove and all, but it'd be a better choice. A range, with the oven built in. Then we could have more cabinet space where the oven used to be. And we can't spend more than 600 dollars for all of it. I know, cheap, but yeah. Thanks in advanced.

  1. Well, you get a NEW ONE when you can AFFORD  a new one, otherwise beggars can't be choosers.    Since 1950  my god aren't you lucky.  You probably couldn't find the parts to repair it anyways.

  2. You should be able to get a pretty good stove with that budget.  Look at Home Depot and Lowes for ideas, then go to the local appliance dealers where you will probably get a better price than the other two places.

  3. go to a recyling place or place an ad in your local paper a lot of people throw out perfectly good units during renovations and yes it generaly is far cheaper to replace than repair
