we have a 2 year old and one on the way, so family life, schools and a nice neighborhood would be great. We like to go out and meet people head to events, games and like the beach. Were from Michigan (Ann Arbor) and like the family neighborhood feel. It might be asking a lot, but can you help us with suggestions!

  1. jacksonville

  2. The Beaches area is great of course, but very pricey. In Jacksonville metro, your best bets might either be Mandarin or the 9-A corridor between I-95 and the JTB (FL-202) - a LOT of very nice-looking apartment complexes have popped up in the latter in the last couple of years. In the outlying areas, St. Augustine and Ferdandina Beach might be worth a look, but are each a bit of a drive if you're working in downtown JAX. Avoid Orange Park if at all possible - traffic there is a nightmare, especially along Blanding.
