My family are not nice at all?

Question

I live in a falt on my own and me and my friend work for a building firm.

And my parents and sisters wanted a new fence puting up so me and my friend dug holes and put up the fence posts and my family never made us a drink. and me and my friend went to the shop for a drink and when we had a break my family called us lasy and said they could do our job. why are they like that?

They are family they probably figure you know where the tap and cups are. It was lazy of you to leave work w/out checking out or finishing. They probably could do your job. You are putting up a fence!!!

Selfish and ungreatful, lot of that going around and usually that type are the first to complain they can't get any help or respect.  There are those who think because your family, you owe them something.

    Don't sweat it, the next time they call, let them know, you did not appreciate the uneccessary names thrown at you, when they were thoughtless enough to not even offer a drink, for the thoughtfulness, time and effort, you and a non relative were willing to put out for them.

They seem to simply be ungrateful. Family can be that way and make you and your pal didn't do such a great job on the fence due to thirst. Say something to them or ignore it.
