can eat from fast food restraints in Texas? (I am vegetarian not vegan so i still drink milk and eat cheese)

  2. Stop eating out and start making your own personal dinners at home.

  3. Then you can eat Mexican food and eggs and cheese. Try a chile rellenos or egg rancheros, or bean and cheese burrito. Those are just a few examples of the many vegetarian Mexican dishes.

    Also, if you like breakfast suppers, that is a good option..... without the meat of course. I like breakfast foods for supper instead of breakfast.

  4. Tex Mex?

    Nachos with chese, empanadas with cheese, taco salad with beans.

    Asian?

    Chinese or Thai vegetable stir fries with rice or noodles, Indian chick pea and potato curries.

    Pizza?

    Margherita (just cheese and tomato sauce) or create your own with vegetables.

  5. Wendy's has a baked potato that you can get loaded nicely.  Subway has a pretty good sandwich if you ask for every single veggie they have and also get cheese.  Some Burger Kings have a veggie burger.  Taco bell has bean burritos.  McAlister's has veggie chili and baked potatoes.

    I have been a vegetarian for 35+ years and it hasn't always been easy.  Growing up I was the only one in my family.  Now there are several.  I didn't preach or act like a stick in the mud about food.  I just tried to be an example.  Do yourself a favor though.  If you want to be a vegetarian, marry a vegetarian someday.  I did and it's great.  If we go out it's always to a place that is veggie friendly.

    So be creative in your quest.  There is more out there than you think.


  6. Fast Food places are tough. Look at more of the side dishes.

    Baked potatoes, Fruit Salads, Cole Slaw(might have eggs if Mayo is used) etc.

  8. Ooh .. don't eat fast food!!

    You could go to a real restaurant once a week in stead of eating junkfood 3 times a week.

    At a real restaurant you'd probably have no trouble finding a good vegetarian meal.

    Alternatively you could insist you eat at a vegetarian restaurant every other or third time! That would only be fair - the others can eat vegetarian food, but you can't eat meat, so they'd have a MUCH easier time finding something delicious, they can eat, at a vegetarian place, than you have with a menu of meat! ;)

  10. Maybe you should opt out of the fast food dinners and cook your own dinners at home.  Eating fast food three times a week is a fantastically unhealthy habit and maybe you can set a good example for your family.

    In a pinch, Subway and Taco Bell are your best bets.  Taco Bell's beans and rice are made without animal ingredients, per their website, and their cheese is rennetless.

  11. you can never go wrong with cheese stick and fries or baked potato or potato skins with cheese no bacon of course  oh and jus check out all the potato stuff you will get full trust i will think of others hope you won't leave hungry
