Yeah use a tampon, but when you get out of the water, it would be a good idea to change it out, if your going to be getting in and out of the water a lot then wear a tampon and also wear a pad in your swim suit, and wear shorts over your swim suit, and then just in case it leaks youll be safe. Or if your not comfortable with a tampon then the pad idea would work, but only if its not too heavy. Hope this helps

Yeah use a tampon and have plenty with you. If your real heavy it may not be the best idea. But yeah you'll be fine if you go and then change your tampon when you get out of the water and arent planning on going back in for a while.
