All four of us are moving. Parents are working and my brother and I are going to school. Do we each need our own visa or can we all get one under our dad?

Any extra details are appreciated :)

thanks!

  1. To be honest I am not sure, I assume you are a minor and traveling with your parents. Check with the UK embassy.

  2. Simple answer... if YOU have a passport.. then YOU need your own visa.

  3. Of course each of you will need a visa. Your dad might get work permit or something like HSMP Programme. Your dad will be your sponsor and visa is just what you need to be stamped in your passport to show your status in the UK.

People in UK will use your passport as your ID, so you have to make sure that you wont lose it!

What they need are, your dad company letter, your dad's bank statement (or company sponsorship if he's under the company sponsorship), letter to prove that you are family, maybe your parents marriage certificate, and the children birth certificates, Work descriptions and Contract letter. But I think the company will handle it all so you dont have to be worried.

You're lucky, because after 5 years your dad can apply for UK passport and you too, can come along.

    Good luck and cheers x*x
