My family wants to sell our house, details inside.?

Question

Its about 3300 square feet, 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath, and it was apprased for $199,700, and all of that.

How fast do you think it would sell in the Houston area?

& What is the process to selling a house?

No buyer would buy a home with just that info and without walking thru it.  So I can't tell you if they would pay that much or how quick it would sell without walking thru it.  

Around here some neighborhoods are overwhelmed with all the houses for sale.  Others are selling fast and very few houses are on the market.

Check with friends and family who have sold homes in the last few years around there.  Ask them who a good local real estate agent is.  Look around and see who is doing the most business in your neighborhood.

Talk to a couple of the good agents and see what they say.  You need to list with one of them at a price that is reasonable and get your house in great condition.

i would say pretty fast. I dont know the market in the area but that sounds like a steal for 200k. the house is big and im guessing in good condition....even w/ a down market it will prob sell fast.
