  1. Frisco

  2. Plano, Far North Dallas (Coit & Campbell) and Richardson because they are good neighborhoods with exemplary public high schools. JJ Pearce and Plano HS are just two examples.

  3. Oh, right next to Richardson are ALLEN, LUCAS, FAIRVIEW.  McKinney is just on the other side of Fairview (all off the 75).  These are all WONDERFUL areas for families, with extrremely little (or no) crime and a great school district (Lovejoy is in Allen, Lucas and Fairview).  Lucas & Fairview are quite small towns, with beautiful homes and large lots (1 acre min).  There's lots of great shopping (a huge new center going in at Stacy & the 75), and lots of good restaurants.  Plano and Frisco are good too, but much larger; more congested; and the lots are alot smaller.......

  4. I went to UTD as well.  Great school by the way.

Depending on what you would like to spend, there is a neighborhood right next to UTD called Canyon Creek.  Excellent area and family-friendly.  Big trees, bigger lots than the newer homes.
