My mother does not have the money to keep paying her attorney. My father's attorney is retired, blind, and very rich, so he is just dragging out this divorce. Every court date seems to meet with another one to reschedule. How long can this continue? Some money disputes are involved but no much. Does she have any recourse to speed this up? It has been over a year and still no conclusion. This is in California.

  1. Talk with your father and see if he won't listen to reason, if he doesn't really there is nothing you can do. Maybe it would be better if your mother would re-think this and if little money is all they are still fighting over, more than likely that will go to the lawyers.
