My father divorced my mom and left his 1989 rx7 convertible which she will give me.

Question

its going to cost about $1500 to fix. I have the money but not sure I want to part with it. Also, it snows alot here so it doesnt do well in the winter with the convertible top and rear wheel drive transmission. Should I keep it or sell it? it's a really nice car but in the end is going to cost a lot of extra money. its only a 2 seater but gets good gas mileage 25 MPG.what would you do?

I'd sell it in a heartbeat.  There's no reason to keep a car you can't drive 4 months out of the year.

i'd keep it if you dont mind public transportation in the winter

keep it, car like that should be worth more than its trouble here in a few years, wait till you can seel it for more than you've spent on it, and bam, quick profit
