My father had double by pass surgery?

he had it 5 days ago and he has not woke up after surgery. he had not been fully responsive.i tickeld his feet and he would have a reflex, and does have movement of the mouth, slightly opens his eyes ans slightly moves them. slight movement of the shoulders.all his vitals are normal. 2 catscans done and a brain wave testing no sighns of a stroke. he did have brain swelling but it went down with meds.dr says everything is normal we just have to wait and see what happens.. they say they cant do anything at this point... it is all up to him they say... has anyone came across this? or know someone? if so how long did it take for him/her to wake up? or did they wake up?i know everything is in gods hands. and right now he is in gods hands and im waiting for god tohelp him... we are praying and asking allah to help and forgive him.. but please anyone respond im desprite to hear anything.

It sounds like that your father had received excessive amount of anesthesia prior to the operation. Which has him still sleeping. As far as the operation is a concern, it has been a successful surgery. According to me, as long as he is receiving proper care and nursing in the hospital God willing he will wake up and will be fine. Just be supportive towards the rest of your family members and have faith and hope. Definitely your father shall be okay.
