My father has kind of a bump in his testicular area..

Right between his testicles and right leg. He complains that it burns and hurts when he touches it.

What could this be?

This sounds more like a hydrocel. That is where fluid from the body cavity has made a passage through the abdominal wall. I had one and this sounds just like what I had.

it could be a hernia--a rupture in the s*****m to protect the t******e; he should have it check otherwise the rupture will continue and this can lead to some other freaky stuff from happening--not kidding but his intestines can pour out into the s*****m( it will not cause death) and this can create a bigger rupture.  tell him to just go and see a doctor; it can also be an injury where the cords behind the t******e have become entangled and it hurts--this can kill the t******e; or it could be cancer so let's stop questioning the "what ifs" and go see a doctor; it is best to endure a bit of embarrassment than to die due to embarrassment.  :D

It could be a boil.  How long has it been there?  If it is on his t******e could be cancer.  A boil looks like a big red zit.  It is about the size of a penny and they hurt!

this could very well be a hernia or somthing worse, i hope not. he really needs to go to the doctor, maybe drive him to the er. these sort of things need to be caught early.
