but know he need to refi his house and need a letter that will state we make the payments. were can i get a sample letter? or how do i get one?

I don't think there really is a sample letter for that.  The letter just has to state that you are the responsible party paying the bill.  It may need some of your personal information, such as:

Name

Address

Place of Employment

How long

Your SS Number

How many payments you have made

How many payments are left

What is the interest rate on the loan

Year, Make and Model of Car

and Insurance information.  The will ask for full coverage.

Before giving out all of that personal information I would have them give you a list of what has to be on the letter.

Just write out the letter explaing the situation. Get it certified, both parties will have to be there to get it notorized.
