My father is forcing me to marry but I dont want to get married.

I want to continue studies.How should I convince my father??

tell him that you want to be independent before you settle down so that you want to feel secure for the sake of your future and your families future

u need to have a direct and frank conversation with ur father.  if ur intimidated by him,get someone else like a brother, cousin, uncle, autnt to also stand by you and have that discussion.  u can also use ur teachers / professors to talk to him.

Your father is afraid that you won't find a groom later in life. That fear is not unfounded; it is a valid concern; older women find it more difficult to find a husband. Maybe you can show him on various matrimonial websites, how the age of marriage has gone up in recent years. Women everywhere are marrying in their early 30's.

Another point: why do you feel you won't be able to continue studies after marriage? Maybe, you can find a groom who himself is doing post-graduate/PhD, and then marriage will be an advantage to you!!!

Just explain him. Sit with him. Try to convince him. Say him to give u time to study as it is very important for ur future.Tell him that u can get a good life partner after u compelete ur studies.
