My father recently told me about a dream he had, which he percieved to be h**l. ?

In this dream, there were no birds, children, dogs, cats, etc, just people wandering around looking for something but never finding it. He said these people were in a huge field with a gate, and there were snakes coming out of the ground. He also mentioned that the people we wearing some kind of brown, glittery substance on their faces. Just looking for some insight into this.

I think your father is right.  h**l is without life as in the dream and snakes are simply wicked people.  Those wandering around sound to me like the guardians of h**l as many who have seen "angels" have mentioned that some have a ruddy, brown, glittery complexion as you mentioned above
