My father was rendered service in Military at France can I Mother get French citizenship now.?

My father was a Ancient Combatant in Military France during 1941 - 1958. He lost is nationality in 1962. according to article 5 Franco-Indian. Can my mother an me has rights to get French Citizenship.

a choice was given to all people at independence  time,

who had fought in the war (such as Algeria),or were under the french nationality,(Pondichery& India)

therefore,he made his choice and cannot regain french citizenship.
