My father’s death made me strong: Sachin Tendulkar
Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar stated that his father’s death made him a strong person and he became more determined to rake in more runs.
He was present at the release of a music album that is based on poems written by his late father, Ramesh Tendulkar.
“That was the most difficult stage of my life,” an emotional Tendulkar recalled.

Tendulkar stated that he misses his father immensely whenever he adds another chapter to his illustrious career. He added that he always looks towards the sky after reaching a milestone to seek his father’s blessings.
“When I scored my 50th Test century, I looked up and wished my father was with me,” Tendulkar admitted.
“I feel that he is with me,” the Indian batsman conceded before adding that his father’s principles had made him stay grounded and he always ‘guides’ him to make the most important decisions.
