I have checked the nuts and screws and everything is tight in the handle. The hot water side works fine. The water valve is open all the way.

  1. That happened to my kitchen taps.  I just needed to get new taps.

  2. Could be as simple as air in the cold water lines.  Go to another sink and try and let the air escape.

  3. you need to replace the cold water side stem,or it may be just as easy to get a new faucet.

  4. Replace the valve cartridge.hardware stores carry a bunch of them and they are easy to replace.Just shut the water off and remove the handle.there should be a donut nut under the handle holding the cartridge in.Remove this nut and then the cartridge should pull out
