I know this may sound strange.. but i have a fear of lockers, when they slam. They make me jump and it makes me scared and shakey when someone slams their locker. Like, i could be walking down the hall with one of my friends, talking and if someone slams thier locker i stop in mid-sentence and jump. It's so annoying!! and embarrassing!! School is starting back and i would like to know of a way to get over my fear!!! It's a very serious phobia that i have. Please help me! I would appriciate it VERY much!! Thank you (:(:

  2. Are serious? stop being such a...... edited: a wussy.

I am serious don't let things like that bother you, try to stay cool.

  3. I know it sounds cruel, but nnik has an idea there. Seriously, stand there and slam your locker repeatedly. That way you know it's going to happen, and it doesn't startle you. Eventually, it won't bother you anymore.

  4. You could always try to find something in your house that makes a similar sound, a metal toolbox for example, and slam it repeatedly. You would get used to the noise while being in the safety of your own home which might add some comfort to the situation, and then you wouldn't even notice the locker slamming when you get back to school.
