My feet are hurting after walking on a treadmill. Bottom of feet for days are sore and tender.?

what can I do to stop the pain. Hurts for days.

  1. Wear comfortable shoes.


  2. Sounds like plantars facitis, very painful. Try putting the ball of your foot on the front part of the steps, and stretch the heel downward over the edge. Walk up to a wall and put your toes up against the wall and press forward. this will help stretch the tendons and ligaments that are causing you pain. I had several bouts with it and the exercises was the only relief I received.

  3. If you want to keep walking you can put duct tape on the sore spots on your feet and/or use cushioned and absorbent socks. The socks cost about $12 but they help. You can get them at Big 5.

  4. Sounds like you are doing too much too soon..  Try to start out slow and increase as you go.  Also, you might check your shoes because they may be your problem.  Worse case scenario, you might check with a podiatrist.  Maybe you have something wrong with your feet..  Also, you might consider a no-impact / low-impact exercise instead like swimming.

  5. Soak them in Epsom salts, or massage them.
