I also asked this in the pregnancy section, but it's relevant here too. I am 5 months pregnant with # 2 and have been running since 18 weeks. Actually I've been a runner my whole life, but I stopped until my morning sickness cleared up. Anyhow my feet go numb after two miles, and until they're numb, I'm in a lot of pain in my feet. (once they go numb, I actually feel a lot better). This only happened recently, as in this week, and about this time last pregnancy, it happened also. I know it's not my shoes, because they're new. With my last pregnancy, it got to the point where I would numb sooner and sooner, as in after the first mile or half mile. I was just wondering if there's something that I could do to prevent this and if anyone else has had the same problem. I don't think it's diet-induced because my last pregnancy, I would run in the morning before breakfast. I think it's just that my nerves are being pinched maybe by the extra fluid my body retains. Any suggestions??
