The politicians and the enviro nuts have been s******g us for years. The truth is that the USA has more oil than the Middle East!We have proven oil reserves on the East Coast,West Coast,Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. We have the technology to drill without harming the environment. The time has come to become active and neutralize the idiots so that we can become energy idependent.Call, email and write your congress people and tell them we need to drill in the USA ! Gasoline under $1.50 anyone.....

  1. It's too late.  They sold us on the need for cars and big homes.  Now it's their game.

  2. The "men behind the curtain" will not let the price of gas go

back down to that level. The globalists need the price high, to

drain the average American of discretionary funds. It's all a

part of the orchestrated decline of he United States into a

    Third-World country.

    :-(

  3. You disgust me.

  4. I have a counter-proposal for you; support the decriminalization of industrial hemp. It's such a useful product that all prohibitions against it were suspended during WWI and WWII, and production has even been required at various times in our nation's history. It provides superior textiles, which is why DuPont supported criminalization after inventing nylon (made from fossil petroleum). It provides superior paper products, which is why Hearst supported criminalization to suppress competition with his wood paper mills. All parts of the plant can be used, and the seed oil not only provides a non-toxic and non-corrosive fuel, but can be used to produce plastics and superior lubricants. Industrial hemp cannot be used to get 'high', but fuel made from it can be used in diesel-powered electrical generation plants, diesel-powered transportation, and even home heating, with little or no change in the existing engines. It's also a clean fuel with no sulfur compounds to pollute the atmosphere, and reduces carbon dioxide in the atmosphere during growth.

Finally, the revenue from U.S. industrial hemp production would stay in the U.S., increasing prosperity.

It may someday be necessary to drill in the U.S. for more oil, but that should be saved when we have something already at hand that provides a much better solution in every detail.

  5. Yawn.

  6. Yeah if it were only that easy.

  7. It is long past time for people to get themselves educated about the alternatives to the current mess, then lobby for sensible solutions.

Example: Because the USA refuses to sign the UN treaty on the Law of the Sea, China gets to plant oil rigs off the US Eastern Seaborad, to get oil from US shores to export to China, and not be used in the USA.

  8. The big fallacy is that we can become energy independent simply by drilling. We do not have as much oil as the Middle East, we do have a good amount of it but it is getting harder and harder to get at. d**k Chaney would love you, 6 months after they got into office he made a speech literally ridiculing the entire concept of conservation as a strategy for energy independence, "conservation is not the way to energy independence, more exploration and drilling are". Anybody who believes that should have their head examined, let's try a little mind experiment just for a moment imagine that we could snap our fingers and make every car in the country a 50 MPG

car, and every home and business had some solar capacity weather for heat and hot water or electricity or better yet both our dependence on foreign oil would disappear overnight no

increased drilling or anything else, and the reason we don't do that is because Exxon and the other oil companies, along with the likes of Halliburton ( Mr. Chaney's former company

by the way ) wouldn't like it, after all how else would they be able to afford those $400,000,000 retirement packages. Yes

maybe we could find more oil but everyone seems to forget,

oil is a "finite" not infinite resource and the only way to make it last is to use less, a lot less plain and simple. Not to mention the environmental benefits or burning 1/10 the fossil fuels we do now

  9. I  am almost walking again But they tell me walking is good for Me. But you are right we should be hounding our congress to they do something about it, if they want our votes.,then earn them.
