  1. Well youve opened a can of worms now !!

I have faith in my shoe laces not coming undone becouse I double tie them.

  2. sadly, the large majority of people of "faith" don't practice what they pretend to preach.

the number of christians who have never read the bible is amazing.

the number who don't go to church, or pray, or perform any of their rituals, is also amazing. yet they call themselves christians.

i've read more about their religion than they have. its a sad fact.

of course, anyone who read about their supposedly loving god slaughtering infants and children would be insane to still follow him.

lets not mention that, in the bible, not once is it ever said, from gods mouth (and not that of someone god supposedly spoke to) that he loves the world or mankind.

  3. Rather.

  4. Yes... but on the other hand, the number of people who know jack all about the faith they profess to adhere to is really quite depressing.

  5. Your Diety likes men! Awest

  6. Faith is a personal feeling and belief in something.  How in the world would I think that I know your faith better than you do?  That notion doesn't even make sense.

If you faith in something is strong, then yay for you!

  7. Me and my fellow atheists don't apply to this question I'm sure.

Atheists know everything better than everyone.  Everyone knows that!

    I'm Atheist!

  8. Yes. It is.

  9. is that like how believers think that they know other people's lives better then the ones who live the life?

  10. Yes, the number of M.Div's on this board must be truly staggering.

  11. Dude I like you, but how many times are you going to ask this question? You do know that most atheists were christians who have actually read the bible. That's why they're atheists.

  12. Surely an objective view of all faiths is greater than an inside view of your own?

  13. All of us have our own blind spots. It's good to hear what outsiders say.

  14. well i do think its better.

only because i believe in it all the way.

if your going to be a true believer of your faith you have to believe that your religion is the only one that exists.

that doesnt mean i go saying other religions are wrong(even though in my heart i think they are) and they need to convert to mine.

i let them believe what they want to believe.

  15. I may not know religion as well as other people, but I know enough about it to know it's bulls**t.

  16. Yes, though amazing isn't really the word I would use for it.  It's funny when people who have never been Christians try to tell me what Christianity is about, or when people who have never been Catholic try to tell me what being Catholic is all about.
