  1. 1. Glad to hear it is a "female" dog that is pregnant.

    2. Yes, pups are on the way... when they'll come is a bit harder to determine through examination via COMPUTER

    3. You should have a talk with your mentor and your vet when you have questions like this.

    4. Have you gotten an x-ray done?  Most responsible breeders have an x-ray done on day 57 to determine not only the number of pups on the way but also the degree of calcification--- which gives a better idea of when they are due.

    5. Her temperature and whether she is eating gives a better idea of when they'll be on their way than what day she is on of her pregnancy.

  2. What does your vet and mentor advise?

  3. A RESPONSIBLE breeder doesn't need to ask these type of questions on YA.  A RESPONSIBLE breeder would be taking the dog's temperature twice a day, and would KNOW that a drop below 98 degrees F means pups usually arrive within 12-24 hours.  A RESPONSIBLE breeder would have the female x-rayed to count heads, therefore would know how many to expect so none are left to rot in her uterus and kill her.  A RESPONSIBLE breeder knows a clear sticky discharge can happen at any time throughout gestation and is normal.  Of course, a RESPONSIBLE breeder would ask this of a vet, or better yet, would have assisted at the whelping of other litters with their MENTOR.

  4. hopefully not, seeing as how your dog it WAY out of breed standard.....

  5. Yes puppies are on the way. You need to watch her closely cause it could be at anytime. Any day or time. My dog has had puppies a dozen times and she always has a clear discharge before her labber.

  6. Don't bother with this one folks.  She sends nasty e-mail to people whose answers she doesn't like, then blocks them  No intention of any responsible breeding from this BYBer.  No desire to educate herself.  Poor dogs.  Oh, BTW, the short answer to your Q is no.

  7. Yes, pups are on the way.  When has absolutely nothing to do with the clear discharge.

This is such a basic question I'm shocked you haven't learned about it from your mentor, your vet or the extensive studying you should have done prior to getting to this point.

Nice to know that you block the very people who can give you the most accurate answers.  I will say a prayer for your dog and her pups that you don't lose any because you are unwilling to listen and learn.

  8. she's very close!! congrats and good luck!!

  9. h**l YEAH! If your dog is also panting alot, shaking, pacing, or acting abnormally then your puppies should be coming soon. so make sure you have a place for the dog to have the preferably a box filled with newspaper and a old blanket- and some gloves. it might stink a little but it is one h**l of an experience. the dog should have the puppies in half hour intervals or so. just as long as she is comfortable and she should be ok. but you should help when necessary- like when she is having trouble pushing (pull out gently) or if the puppy isn't breathing (rub puppy vigorously). good luck and have fun

  10. She's close. Normal gestation is 63 - 65 days. You're about to become a puppy parent!
