A female friend of mine recently moved into town and acquired a job. Before she even started the job she decided that she wanted to have a relationship with the supervisor that interviewed her. After she started she began scheming on how to get him into bed. Unfortunately he fell for it and eventually she even began to blackmail him into having s*x with her by threatening to tell his girlfriend and his bosses even though it would mean that she would be in trouble also. At first it was a just a fun thing for her ( or at least it seemed ). But as the situation became more serious and it seems that she is really out to destroy this guy for no apparent reason. She mentioned that other guys have screwed her over so now she is taking it out on this guy. She has plotted and planned all along the way and even kept evidence so that she could take him down. Now she plans to claim sexual harassment and say that she was pressured when in fact i have witnessed her actually blackmailing him to come to her apartment to have s*x with her even though he was making attempts to end it. Unfortunately, he gave in to her demands and now he has been suspended from his job and she has also. She is now meeting with a lawyer to plan her defense. I asked her what would you do if this guy commits suicide or some thing and she replied that she did not care. I feel really bad for the guy but i really dont know him and i know for a fact that she plotted from day one. To his detriment he made several mistakes by getting involved with her but she is on a mission to destroy any man and he just happened to be the one that came along. By all appearances she could really get away with claiming that she was pressured but i know otherwise because she bragged to me every step of the way. She also plans on taking a lot of people down with her. No one involved is innocent but I'm sure that she is the only one plotting like this. What should i do?

  1. Sad, but classic story. It's all in the Bible.

The only thing you could possibly do is officially testify, though I doubt that it will save anybody. Maybe it will make life a bit harder for that friend of your, but it will definitely not save her boss.

I would probably terminate all the relationships with that friend of yours (no drama, no saying it out loud, just call her less and less frequent;y and find some reasons to be busy for her more and more often). And remember this episode very well, and make sure that you personally are never involved in anything like that. As you said, they all made their share of fatal mistakes, and now it's too late to save them. Sad.

  2. Do nothing.  Let this blow up in her face.  And find better friends.
