  1. shes pregnet

  2. How long ago did you get her? Because if you don't see a gravid spot, and she's really fat and not eating, she could have a severe medical condition called dropsy. The way to tell if she has it, is that her scales will stick out like a pinecone. I hope she doesn't, cause I've had guppies that I thought were pregnant and then I realized when it was too late that they had dropsy and then within a day or two they passed away. Dropsy is really difficult, if not impossible to treat, and almost always ends in death. Good luck though, hopefully she really is pregnant and you'll have little babies soon! :-D

  3. First of all, how long ago did you get the fish?

I got a female guppy that was pregnant too, she was supposed to have the fry within the next 5 days, it took her a month. She has to be able to trust the enviroment shes in, like, she needs to be as comfortable as possible. It also depends on what else you have in the tank, if shes by herself and you have her in anything under 3-4 gallons, she could feel its too small to have that many fish in. If shes a first time breeder, she'll most likely have about 20-30 fry, and will deffinitly eat half of them.  Guppies can have anywhere from 3 or 4 fry, to about 200-300 fry, you never know until you look in the tank one day and a pleasant surprise has come. Also, if she's with other fish, especially male guppies, she is most likely feeling threatend. If so, you need to get a breeding net, its just pretty  much a plastic box thing that sits on top of the tank with the pregnant fish in it, and seperates it from the other fish. When al the signs of her about to give birth appear, put her in the breeding net, and you should have fry within the day. Also, they don't really stop birthing fry for about four days, so some will be bigger than others.

Well, it could be because of the pregnancy.

When she is very pregnant, she will be pacing up and down one specific wall, and her belly will be very square. If you don't see the gravid spot anymore, its very possible and likley that the fry was already born, and if they were born in the past week, theyre hiding in the rocks, plants, or they've been eatin, it took me a week to finally realize she had the fry.

    Hope this helped!

    Good luck!

  4. Sounds like she's expecting.

Good luck with the future fry. :)
