When they hatch (I'm not going to handfeed them.) what do I do? Do I put in special food for the parents to feed the babies?

  1. be sure to provide plenty of food for the parents and make sure water is fresh everyday . good luck to you some of the eggs dont hatch and you can get rid of those after 30 days . good luck .

  2. There is a good chance that the eggs are not fertalized because it is normal for birds to lay eggs. The best option is to let the parents feed them, but be aware also that they might not in which case you might have to hand rear them yourself

  3. The parents need to be on a sufficient diet now.  Preparation for breeding starts long before eggs are laid.

You need to be offering plenty of seed and fresh water, millet spray, sprouted seed if you can, egg food, a good calcium source (mineralized grit or cuttlebone) etc.

In terms of "what do I do"? You don't do anything, you let the parents do their job.  The only thing you need to do is provide plenty of nutritious food to the parents so they can feed the chicks adequately.
