  1. I think there is not enough air circulating through the furnace coils causing it to freeze up.  Probably an older furnace.  First when you turn AC on does the outside a/c unit kick on? If yes then answer above, if no then its something with your a/c unit unit outside.

  2. The blower is controlled differently for heating and cooling.

They also will use a different speed of the motor, higher for cooling than heating.

The fan switch on the thermostat will turn on the same relay for the cooling fan speed.

If that does not turn the fan on then the relay may be faulty.

  3. Do you have a heat pump system??? And what is r=1217710755

  4. A furnace produces heat, an a/c unit removes heat from the air. Do you have an a/c unit?

  5. you pretty much answered it yourself, furnace blows heat,a/c blows cold air, make sure you have central heat&AIR....ck the thermostat and make sure it has a cool side if it does make sure its clicked to it. if you've done all of that and still no air, ck your breakers,if they are set, then you may have to call a a/c sevice co.,could be to many things to diagnos w/o any probables.sorry..
