My ferret and my ears ?

why does my ferret l**k inside my ears and nibble on my ear?

You will often see ferrets l*****g or grooming other ferrets’ ears, or even human ears. Ear l*****g is a behavior that can either be used to assert dominance or discipline, or is used to placate a more assertive ferret. Mother ferrets groom their babies’ ears to discipline them.

If this is a new behavior in a ferret that is 3 year or so, the ear l*****g  can be one of the first signs of aggression linked to Adrenal disease. The l*****g is because the hormones are now mimicking the breeding cycle,

Its a bonding and comfort thing. Mine to do it to me but they do it to each other. I have a video (not posted on-line yet) Of my baby ferret actually sucking on my other older baby ferrets ear and falling asleep doing so.

I have know idea my ferret does the same thing it is really weird and would like to know why. try asking another ferret expert.
