  1. Why on earth do you have a pet if you can't afford to get it medical attention when it needs it?  And especially so a ferret.  Ferret vets are few and far between and can be very expensive.

This ferret can't wait to be looked at - it's foot could be BROKEN and need to be reset.  Figure out a way to pay for it.  Borrow money from friends or your parents.  Ask the vet if you can make installment payments.  Or if none of that is possible then surrender this poor thing to a ferret shelter so it can get the care it so desperately needs and can be adopted by someone who can afford to care for it.  Not sure what on earth you'd do when it two or three years she ends up with cardiomyopathy, adrenal disease, insulinoma or lymphoma!

Paige L - what kind of advice is THAT?  You have NO IDEA if this ferret is OK or not and you tell her to not worry?  You should be ashamed of yourself!

  2. I bet you would of never guessed this. But he's limping cause he wants to. Ferrets happen to be very smart and tricky. Your ferret must be very tired because you've been playing with her so much, what a good owner! JUst let him sleep for a while. She knows that if she looks hurt you'll feel the need to let her sleep, and she could just be wicked wicked tired and doesnt feel like walking. It's one of those. Trust me.

    Cheers!

  3. Check to see if she can move her arm, if it isn't dangling there (broken)she should be okay. It is probably sprained or just hurts. I would keep an eye on it though for safety.
