My ferrets have adopted "babies"?

Question

I have three ferrets and it seems like two of them have adopted stuffed animals. Poe is a male and he has a white teddy bear he drags around everywhere, and Maddie is a female and she has a blue teddy she drags around and hides. Is that normal? I can see why a female would do that, but a male?

It is totaly noraml. I own five ferrets. Three boys and two girls. One of my girls is obssesed with anything that squeaks. My other girl is crazy about remote controls, gggrrr!!! One of my boys LOVES those ugly long stuffed dogs you get from petco and anything fuzzie really, wierdo! LoL!

Anyway I am on a yahoo group with MANY ferret owners and rescue.shelter owners and most have at least one ferret that is totaly bonkers about something and often it's a stuffed toy. It's funny enjoy watching. Just make sure there are no parts they can remove and can cause a blockage like plastic eyes and a bow around the neck.

that's normal.it's just playing with stuff animals and so.

give them other more toys to play with like a human baby's platic toys,some tissue rolls and so.don't worry.
