My ferrets skin turned red real fast and actrd funny

my wife brought my ferret up today from our room and was playing well my roommates dog came out was nice just sniffed and played a bit then after about 10 min my ferrets skin near its face got bright red and started acting mean i took it back to our room and it went all over the room acting kind of stranger then usual after about 15 min its skin went back to normall but it acted really tired and out of it anyone know whats up pleaseeeeeeeee.

Give it a bath with a soap sensitive enough, just in case there are broken skin. I think your ferret might be allergic to something the dog brought in or perhaps was it some kind of scent or air freshener that could've been sprayed?

Also, if your ferret starts losing fur, then it might be fur mites.

But honestly, take your ferret to a ferret-savvy vet!! Seriously, if you were *in* pain (that explains the acting mean part), you would not sit around wondering on the internet.
