  1. Buy some wonderful Italian foccacia bread and a pre-roasted chicken at the grocery, along with fresh mesculum salad. Berries are in season right now, so get some strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Pick up some mild cheese, such as Havarti or Gouda.

Slice the bread, as you would for sandwiches. Pull the chicken off the bone, place it on the bread and top with the greens. Sprinkle with Italian salad dressing. Slice into small sandwiches.Wrap tightly with aluminum foil.

Rinse the fruit and let it dry. Place it in a plastic container. Serve with the cheese.

Add a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio and you have all you need for a wonderful picnic.

  2. It really depends on what you both like to eat, but you could take fried chicken (or buy some on the way) or make up some nice sandwiches on crusty rolls. Take some fruit that's easy to eat - like grapes or apple slices, some potato or pasta salad, and something sweet for dessert. Take some iced tea or wine to drink.

You could also just do munchable things, like cheese & sausage, artichoke hearts, diced fruit and grapes, loaf of bread...things like that.

Don't forget a blanket to sit on, some flatware, plates and cups, too!

    Have fun!

  3. How about potato salad or pasta salad, i make my potato salad with eggs potatoes and mayo. it is sooo good. Bring iced tea or something that you can easily throw away. Then 4 ur puppy, instead of bringing food for ur puppy bring milk in a bottle. Bring a table cloth and utensils Hope you have fun!
