Is there some sort of extension I can add. Right now there is a little divider/tray in the middle seperating the two seat. The seat will sit there with no problem. I just can't fasten it. An extension would allow me to secure it in there using the two seat belts that are already there.

  1. well..... now you have to put your child first.....

i had 2 two seater cars and had to drade them in for the sedans... =(   but hey... its got the middle seat and i know that nothing will happen to my child is someone hits me from the side.... (speaking of a regular side impact) not a deadly crash.....

you always want to make sure the car seat is installed properly.... not doing so can change everything....  if i were you, i would seek trading in the car into something with a middle seat....

you really have no choice.... this is your childs life... you need to make adjustments to prevent things from happening.... and NO do Not ever put the baby on the front.... u might as well tie the car seat to the roof if your going to do that....

but yeah trade the car in... only option... do not ghetto rigg your car.... because you will regret it if something where to happen

  2. You need to install it in one of the outboard seats.  You can't modify the seat or seatbelts or latch straps in anyway.

  3. Not that I have every heard of, remember than the fastener will need to be bolted to the frame or to the seat belt anchors, if you do decide and do something like this make your that your local fire department inspects it for you they will do this free of charge................................
