My fiance and I are trying to figure out a good song for when she walks down the ailse.?

We want a newer song and have been listening to a lot of different types of music but nothing is saying "USE ME!" : ) We don't want to use the traditional wedding march either. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks for the help.

I'm using the rain song by Led Zeppelin.

To listen to samples of songs (and not just the list of 25-50 that the wedding song websites have) try this site:

www.finetune.com

It lets you search by artist, title, genre, anything you want. After it does that it also links you to other artists that are similar. It gives you 30 second samples of every song. Occasionally it's not enough to really get a feel for the song so I google it and listen to it through youtube.

Check with the organist/music person at the church. Some churches will allow only certain music to be played for the service. Prince of Denmark, Pachebel's Canon, are some samples of using something traditional but not the wedding march. Try this: http://weddingmusic.retrofit.net/

They have everything from prelude to processional to cake cutting to the removal of the garter belt to father-daughter first dance songs. There are lots of choices. My husband and I just went to Youtube and iTUNES and listened to the songs we didn't know. It turned out to be very interesting.
