"...And even though we aint got money, I'm so in love with you honey, and every thing will bring a change of love, a, a, a ove, and in the mornin' when I rise, bringin' tear and joy to my eye-eyes and tell me, every thing is gonna be alright."

Anyway, we don't know where to go, what choices we have, what's cheap, or anything for that matter. I don't want to end up having some cheesy wedding at the Civic Center. That sounds so unromantic. Can anyone help? I live in the Marin County, Bay Area, California.

  1. Find a Justice of the Peace - and they will marry you wherever you want.

  2. check the yellow pages for Justices of the Peace

  3. Hire a justice of the peace

    get your license

find a location you love, park, beach whatever!

  4. Cute...I love that song too.  You'd be surprised just how romantic a simple courthouse wedding followed by an intimate dinner with immediate family and close friends can be.  But if the justice of the peace just isn't your thing, consider getting a close friend or relative ordained as a minister online through the Universal Life Church.  It is completely legal and then someone you love can say the "magic words" that make you husband and wife.  Also, it's free, so you won't have to pay a minister fee.  Then, you, your groom, the newly-minted minister, and a handful of close friends and family can go somewhere scenic in the area (maybe a lovely park or somewhere by the bay) and have a truly meaningful ceremony there.  Best of luck!
