My fiance and i booked a trip to st. thomas and we are staying at the bolongo resort. has anybody ever stayed.

Question

at this bolongo bay beach resort. If so how was it, please give me ur opinions.. also while we are there we plan on taking the ferry over to st. johns because we heard that they have the best beaches over there for scuba diving.

Just a tip, you might want to rent a car while you are on St Thomas. Much easier to get around than taxis. You can take your car over to St John on the Car barge. Here is a schedule.

Yes I've stayed there,,its very nice, although a little dated, the have a great beach bar called Iggy's. Real nice restaurant and swim up bar. St. John does have out of the world beaches, but so does the British Virgins Islands, and you'll need a passport to visit them. As for the diving, I think the best is "the Indians" or "the Caves" both are in the BVI, also the "the Baths" in Virgin Gorda is quite spectacular.  Good Luck & have a safe trip
