My fiance has pemphigus?

he feels down ,and he is frustrated,he became isolated,he doesnot answer the phone

he doesnot want to talk to any body even me

actually he lives in another city and i cant travel to him,please help me what should i do in this situation, and tell me is pemphigus fatal?

If not treated, pemphigus can be fatal due to overwhelming infection of the sores. The most common treatment is the administration of oral steroids, especially prednisone.

but if he doesnt want the world to see him and wont accept that people care and that you want to see him,.,,

thats really fatal.

if i was you, i would see anyway.

just to let him know he doesnt have to feel down..

there is usually three types.

Pemphigus Vulgaris- sores often originate around the mouth. Can occur at any age but is seen more often between the ages of 40 and 60. More frequent among persons of Jewish, Middle Eastern, or Mediterranean Descent.

Pemphis Foliaceus- is the least servere of the three. Only found on the top layer of skin. Characterized by,, crusty sores that usually begin on the scalp, and may move to the back, chest, or face. Often mis-diagnosed as Dermititis or Eczema. No Mouth Sores OCCUR in Pemphis Foliaceus.

Paraneoplastic Pemphis- The least common, but most severe of the three. Is a complication of  cancer, usually Lymphoma and Castleman's Disease. It may result in the Diagnoses of a tumor. Painful Sores occur on the Mouth, Lips, and the esophagus. in this version, the disease often includes the lungs, causing Bronchiolitis Obliterans. Removal of the tumor may improve the skin disease, but the affects on the lungs are irreversable.

It can be Fatal if the sores are not treated, should this happen, an overwhelming infection would occur in the sores.

Get him to a doctor if he hasen't been there already.
