  1. My aunt was a twin (brother) and she had 10 kids of her own but no twins. Her girls might have twins maybe in the future.

  2. well your fiance being a twin doesnt really have any effect since the genetic chance of having twins has to come from your side.  identical twins is just something that happens sometimes...noting can really predict it will happen.  feternal twins result from you relasing 2 eggs rather then 1 which you can genetically inherit.  this being said...twins are still pretty rare so I wouldnt count on them.

  3. The trait for twins is usually inherited from your mother's side.

  4. It is very unlikely that you would have twins. Not to burst your bubble or anything but according to genetics, twins are supposed to skip a generation. Not that they are not exceptions to the rule, but only a slim chance. Look at your great aunt, was she twin?, but check back the generation before her.But your finance being an identical twin none the less makes it a tad bit difficult for the both of you to conceive twins. However it is very likely that your child/ children will have twins, so your future grandchildren have a better chance of being twins than you do of producing your own.

  5. It depends; are your cousins' mothers related to your mother (and therefore to you)? If the gene is on your father's side or on your fiance's side, your chance is just as good as the rest of the population.

Only a gene which causes a woman to release more than one egg can be inherited by her daughters or granddaughters; not by her sons because men do not have ovaries.

On another note, only fraternal twins are 'inherited'; identical twins are just a 'coincidence' of nature. To sum it up, only a gene which causes the woman to release more than one egg during ovulation can be inherited by her female progeny, and this only pertains to fraternal--not identical--twins.  So the fact that your husband is an identical twin will not be an indicator of whether or not he'll have twins, because men don't determine twins, only women do.

    Hope this helps!
