My fiance is not affectionate. Please give advice.?

Question

It seems as if my fiance used to be significantly more affectionate than he is now. We still have s*x regularly and it is amazing, but his hand holding, hugging, kissing, etc. are only when it seems like he really wants to be in physical contact with me. Sometimes when I try to hug him or hold his hand he just sits there or acts like it's some extra nuisance he has to deal with. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but it kind of hurts my feelings and feels like us being affectionate is on his terms. I'm afraid if I don't get advice or he isn't more affectionate it will drive me to the point of being extremely unhappy.

RUN...........AND  RUN FAST !!!!!  This is your early warning sign.  Trust me.  My husband was the same way.  I put it off to job stress....Oh he just has a lot on his mind....If he is doing this now it doesn't change and then you will be married and wondering why you two aren't like the other people you see around you holding hands and being affectionate.  And you will be miserable !  I have been married now for 4 yours and wonder a lot....why? why can't we be like that couple or that couple?  Yes, we have a great s*x life also but you need more than s*x to make it work in the long run.  

Buy the book ..."He's just not into you" and see if anything fits your situation.

It sounds like you definitely need to speak to him about this if you feel it is a problem.  Also, that other couple, walking down the street holding hands, probably have problems with their relationship too.  No matter how perfect they look, they will have problems which, in your relationship, are probably absolutely fine!

My husband of seven years use to be the same way just ask him if you love each other he should not get offended or you might be catching him at the wrong time to be affectionate Dont take it as a bad sign men just have their own ways of being affectionate Remember communication is the key
