  1. She sounds a little like my (ex)wife.  If you n' she, live in the U.S. and, the $600 is SSI from the U.S. Government, you won't be able to get married without the government greatly reducing it, from whatever you make.

In no way does that mean, you shouldn't stay with her.

As for financial help, you will be able to get that through the state and/or, the county.

  2. You can probably qualify for Medicaid and WIC.  After the baby is born, you might qualify for foodstamps.  Visit your local Human Resources Department and ask them for assistance.

  3. You should have used birth control if you weren't financially ready to have children!!

See if you can apply for WIC

  4. She should definitely be able to get medicaid. Have her apply right away at Social Services. While there, find out what else you might possibly qualify for and apply for everything! Actually, I think the first thing you should do is make her an appointment at the health department where they can confirm pregnancy, and she can apply while there. God bless!

  5. First she needs to get a confirmation papers from the dr saying she's pregnant.  Then she needs to take that to the DHS office and apply for medicaid and food stamps. They wont be able to do anything until she can prove she's pregnant.

  6. If your fiance is borderline mentally retarded, she may qualify for Supplemental Security Income, a program administered by the Social Security Administration.

There are forms that her doctor would have to fill out in order to get her enrolled in the program.
