My fiance just won his case for social security for mental disability. will him & my child get back pay?

I know he will get back pay minus the first five months but will she get back pay also ( i know she will start getting a check monthly) but i don't know the answer about the back pay

I don't quite understand your question.  If your fiance was awarded social security disability, he will get retroactive benefits, depending on when he filed his paperwork.

I don't see how your child is fitting in with getting anything.

How about calling Social Security and asking them?  Could you be talking about Soc. Sec. Supplementary Income, not Disability?  The phone number is probably on the paperwork they sent you.  If not, you can get it online or in the phone book.  This is their main phone number:  1-800-772-1213
