  1. That all depends on where you want to go!!!  I had friends who used someone's beach house for free for a week!  I know people who put off their honeymoon for a different time of year to save money...  You could also attempt to get a last minute deal to some awesome location and save money that way... I would search the internet for deals...

It seriously depends on where you want to go!!!  Whatever your budget is, I am sure you can find a fun place to go, afterall, it's more about the two of you spending time together than anything else!

  2. There is no average costs. I guess it depends of your financial mans and how far are you willing to travel.

We are going to a 7 days Bermuda Cruise for $2400 and that's quite a bargain.

Some shorter cruises to Mexico will be even cheaper than that and all meals are included.

Budget friendly alternatives are a nearby Bed and Breakfast  romantic weekend getaway.

  3. You can have a inexpensive honeymoon,as long as it is fun and romantic.

  4. 45 cents

  5. You can spend as much or as little as you want.  It really depends on where you decide to go.  We're going to an all inclusive resort in Jamaica for a week and it will be $4,400 for both of us (including airfare and everything else).  Read this Forbes article entitled "What your honeymoon will cost."  http://www.forbes.com/2004/04/22/cx_cv_0... wishes!

  6. well, you could have a cheap honeymoon, & go to Taco Bell on Tues.   Taco Tues...   2 taco's for $.69 cents......or you could go for a fancy honeymoon,  & spend Thousands of dollars, depending on where you want to go........   save money.........  the wedding will cost the most........ unless you have a pretty limited wedding budget, but you can honeymoon almost anywhere for less than $3,000.   Good Luck........

  7. As much as you are willing to spend. An average is meaningless. All depends on your financial situation. You could spend 1 night camping is a park or take a cruise around the world.

  8. Start doing research on the Internet and see what type of bargains you can find. There are tons of options.

  9. There is no average cost. It depends on your destination, which depends on your financial situation. Wait until you have the money.

  10. It honestly does depend on where you want to go. If you book something through a travel agent, you could end up with a good deal in a package price, including air fare (sometimes they include car rental price too). If your sight is somewhere you are going to drive, you have to figure in gas money on top of other expenses. Most times you can do an online search for hotels/motels' prices and look up price information on the event/activity you want to do. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.

  11. It does depend on where you want to go, what time of year it is and how much you can afford to spend.  Consider not leaving for your honeymoon right away but planning it after you wedding so you can take advantage of off-season deals and have time to save up a bit.

If you want to fly some where (somewhat exotic) and are on a tight budget consider going to an island in the Caribbean during the summer.  That is the cheapest time to go because people don't tend to travel to hot places in the hot summer. Also, try booking a last minute deal at an all inclusive.  My fiance and I saved a ton that way!

We just went to Jamaica (for a vacation, not our honeymoon) in the last week of June.  We saved 40% off our package because we booked less than a week before we left.  If you aren't picky about what island you go to, you can save a lot this way.  It was $2500 for both us (including all food, drinks, alcohol, resort accommodation, airfare and taxes).  Jamaica is one of the more expensive islands too, try Dominican Republic or Cuba for some really great deals (like less than $1000 a person all inclusive).

Check out tripcentral.ca. We have booked 2 all inclusive packages through them and have yet to be disappointed.  We will probably be booking our honeymoon through them too.

Lastly, if you book through a travel agent, ask about setting up a honeymoon registry.  You plan out your honeymoon and then there is an online account made for you with some of the trip's details and your wedding guests can contribute to paying for that instead of buying a gift or just giving you cash.  This is what we are doing because we want to go to Paris for our honeymoon and it's going to be more than we can afford ourselves.

    Good Luck!

  12. 6 to10 thousand

    the souvenirs if u want..
